This is the first time I have ever been to Goring Hall Hospital & I was only there as a day patient, but all the staff were very helpful & very caring & everybody was very professional & I feel I was very lucky to have my treatment there.
I went to Goring Hall for a procedure feeling a little concerned and nervous. I was put at ease very quickly by all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The hospital was spotlessly clean with plenty of facilities. Very quiet and spacious. Just right to put you into the right frame of mind. My husband came with me and was given a cup of coffee.
My procedure took until lunchtime. We had driven from Haywards Heath. The staff gave me a hot drink, and salad with bread and butter for lunch. I am Coeliac, and they even found me some Gluten Free Bread. We were well impressed.
This was my second visit for a procedure under Mr Al-Singary. The first time I went as a private patient, and the last time as an NHS patient, put I was treated exactly the same. Very commendable.
I was given excellent care during my stay by all staff
I was thoroughly informed every step of the way for my procedure. Every member of staff were kind and friendly especially my nurse Sarah Botting and the catering assistant Vivian. I could not have asked for better care. The only niggle I had was not the hospitals fault. The visitor with the patient in the next bed to me was constantly talking on her phone. Perhaps notices on the walls saying phone calls should be taken outside would be an idea.
The staff at BMI Goring were very friendly and helpful, couldnt do enough to make me feel at ease
I would recommend this hospital, the care given is out of this world! I'm very impressed!
I have attended this hospital numerous times over the years, both for myself,my husband, and in my line of work taking people to appointments. The Administration has been awful for years, always errors in the paperwork, very often changes of timing just the evening before the procedure which is most inconvenient. This time,I was changed from morning to afternoon surgery by a call at teatime the day before, Having waited 6 weeks for a guided injection, someone had just found out there's no radiography Dept. on a Saturday afternoon.I was NOT told in any paperwork to take dressing gown and slippers(they didn't know I had been before) and at 7.30am when I arrived as requested, they were not aware that I had been put first on the list.So at 8.40am,when they found out and the consultant was already there,we had a big rush to get me ready, whereas 2 other ladies had already been checked, paperwork done and in gowns waiting! The medical staff, surgical, recovery, and catering staff and reception in the day unit are all lovely...they always are.I can't fault them.Outpatients area has a been a disgrace for years, very weary and scruffy.Much worse than other private hospitals I have attended. You cannot get through to Radiography for half the hours that they say they are open...you have to ask switchboard to send someone round there with your query..I have complained to Goring Hall several times re the state of Admin...nothing changes.
I find this is a wonderful ,light , and immaculately clean hospital with kind. Polite and caring staff in all areas and am glad to be able to have the chance to be treated there.
So nice to be in an environment where healing can take place.
